Case Study

6651 Customs is a full-service custom auto shop on Marco Street in North Las Vegas, founded in 2005 by Ryan John and grown from a backyard operation into one of the city’s go-to shops for powder coating, painting, custom exhaust, sandblasting, wheel repair and off-road builds. The brief was a site that looks like the cars that roll out of the shop — loud, clean and fast — and turns visitors into booked jobs.

The visual system runs on three colours pulled from the shop’s identity: a near-black base, an acid green taken from the 6651 Customs script logo, and a deep racing red for stats and emphasis. Wide, squared display type carries the headlines; the hero rotates full-bleed supercar shots under “Custom Auto Modifications”, with the founding year and a single Make Appointment action always in reach.

The home page is built as one long sales run. An About block pairs the founder’s story with engine-bay and forecourt photography, a red counter strip puts the numbers up front — 65,250+ hours of work, 9,761+ customers, 20 years — and the services follow as numbered photo cards: powder coating, custom exhaust, in-house sandblasting, wheel repair and CNC diamond-cut finishing, each shot on real customer cars. A before-and-after section, a detailed services list, a four-card “What sets us apart” grid, an FAQ and an Instagram strip close the page.

Around it sit an About page with the shop’s vision and differentiators, a gallery carousel of finished builds, a contact page with hours and a map, and a dedicated appointment page that every Make Appointment button points to. The site is built on WordPress with Elementor so the shop can swap photos and services itself, and every section collapses into a single-column, thumb-friendly layout on phones.

Home — the supercar hero and one Make Appointment action.
About — the founder’s story, shop photography and the live counters.
Services — numbered cards shot on real customer cars.
What sets us apart — four reasons, one screen.
Gallery — a carousel of finished builds.
Mobile — home, services and about at 390px.
