Direct Lawyer
On-demand video and voice consultations with licensed Serbian lawyers — booking, verified attorney profiles, and paid sessions in one flow, built on an established call-centre operation.

Legal advice in Serbia still runs through the office door. Finding the right specialist means asking around, the first meeting is scheduled in days rather than minutes, and the price is rarely known before the conversation ends. MK Call Centar had already proven the demand from the other side of the problem — a working phone-consultation business covering legal, business, and medical advice — but no digital product surface: no directory, no self-service booking, no way to take payment for a session without a human in the loop.
Direct Lawyer is that product surface. Clients browse a directory of bar-verified attorneys filtered by practice area, rating, and live availability, then book a fixed 30-minute session in one of two formats — audio, or video with screen sharing — at a price shown before they commit. Funds are authorised up front and captured only after the consultation actually takes place, and a PDF invoice reaches the client by email the moment the session ends. Sessions run in the browser over WebRTC with no app install. Behind the client-facing flow sits the operator console: lawyer onboarding and bar-credential verification, per-format pricing, session length and platform commission, all configured centrally so the published rates are always the live ones.
The build is Next.js and TypeScript, server-rendered for the pages that have to rank — the directory and every attorney profile — and client-side only where the booking and call layer needs it. Card payments are handled entirely on Raiffeisen Bank’s hosted page, so card data never touches the platform; identity and session management run through Clerk. Design carries the trust load: a restrained gold-on-black identity, verification and experience surfaced above the fold on every profile, real reviews with the count visible, and pricing stated in dinars in plain type rather than buried in a modal. Serbia consults on mobile, so every flow — directory, profile, booking, call — was designed at 390px first and widened from there.
The platform launched with 48 verified attorneys across seven practice areas and has since carried over 1,240 sessions at a 4.8 average rating. Because pricing, commission, session length, and vertical taxonomy are all configuration rather than code, the same stack re-points at any professional vertical where advice is billed by the half hour — the white-label expansion path the operator is now building against.
